Quality Glass is proud to be a sponsor in the 2017 A United Golf Classic. The golf tournament is a fundraiser to benefit the Open Door Mission, and will be held on August 28th at Oak Hills Country Club.
The Open Door Mission has been committed to serving the homeless and poverty-stricken in the Omaha metro area since it was founded in 1954. Each day the Open Door Mission serves more than 2000 meals and provides 816 beds to homeless men and women in the community. Last year’s tournament raised more than $30,000 for the organization.
“I have experienced conditions in my life that are similar to homelessness. Even though this was many years ago, I have never forgotten how awful it was, and how helpless you feel with no where to turn to help,” said Kevin Kuta, president and founder of Quality Glass & Mirror, Inc. “The realization that anyone could end up homeless is enough to motivate me to participate in lending a helping hand to those who need it.”
